ZETA

Problem

King County Metro aims to transition to a zero-emission fleet by 2035 but faces challenges including lack of suitable tools, time-consuming analysis, and high consulting costs.

Approach

The team conducted interviews with five employees and subject matter experts, performed field research, and iterated through ideation, design, and testing phases.

Solution

ZETA is an intuitive, interactive simulation tool that replaces complex consulting reports, enabling users to explore fleet transition strategies, simulate outcomes, and generate shareable reports.
