Problem
Currently there is no way for recipients to request specific need for donations in their immediate community. Lack of a feedback and request system leads to a disconnect between the needs of receivers and available donations.
Approach
In our journey to enhance food donation systems, we embarked on a rigorous research process. Initially, we delved into secondary research to understand existing systems' strengths and limitations, uncovering the critical need for real-time data and better inventory management in order to solve misalignments between demands and donations.
Solution
Real-Time Pantry Map displays all pantry locations with real-time updates on stock levels, current traffic, wishlists and donation opportunities. Pantry Management Dashboard enhances pantry management by offering real-time insights on stock levels, usage patterns, and community needs.
